We believe that teaching the Word is central to the life of the church—and that its impact grows when we reflect on it together. Home Groups are small gatherings that meet throughout the week to extend the discipleship path that begins on Sunday mornings.

These groups give us space to revisit what we’re learning as a church, to apply it in real time, and to walk with others who are pursuing Christ. It’s a rhythm of studying, sharing, praying, and living in step with the Scriptures—together.

Carrying the Word Into the Week
Each Sunday, we open the Word together and worship. Home Groups pick that intention back up and invite us to keep walking with it—through discussion, questions, and community.
Rather than rushing on to something entirely new, many of our Home Groups intentionally dwell in the same passage from Sunday’s teaching. Why? Because God’s Word deserves time to take root. As we talk through it in the context of real life—marriage, parenting, work, and friendship—truth becomes practice. Giving the opportunity for it to shape our thinking, our relationships, and our everyday obedience.
What happens in a group
Relational, rooted, and intentional
- Monthly or bi-weekly gatherings in homes across Middletown, KY.
- Discussion rooted in Scripture, often reflecting on the Sunday sermon or a shared study.
- A shared space for growth—not just learning, but living out the Word through mutual encouragement.
- Prayer, care, and connection—supporting one another through the highs and lows of life.
These groups are not just a Bible study or a social hour—they’re an essential safe space for ongoing discipleship, formed by teaching and strengthened by relationships.
