Our weekly worship service is the heartbeat of life at Lakewood. Each Sunday, we gather to lift up Christ through Scripture, music, prayer, and gospel-centered teaching. This is where our discipleship journey begins—rooted in truth and united in worship.

What to Expect: A multi-generational church family, biblical teaching, and a sincere desire to grow in Christ together. Children’s ministry and nursery (age 4 & below) care are available in Fellowship Hall basement. Activity bags are available at the book table for children who join parents during service.

Lakewood Baptist Church exists to glorify God by making disciples who love God, grow in Christ, and go into the world with the gospel. Everything we do—from our preaching to our children’s ministry to our weekly gatherings—is shaped by the authority of God’s Word and the calling to be witnesses in our homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods.
We hold to historic Baptist doctrine and a high view of Scripture. But we’re not just about sound teaching—we’re about life transformation. That’s why our mission is not only to teach the Word, but to help every believer live it out in faith, obedience, and community.

Our church walks with people. Discipleship at Lakewood is a lifelong journey, and it begins right where you are. Here’s how we grow together:
- Sunday School: Small group Bible study and fellowship for all ages.
- Wednesday Evenings: Deeper teaching in doctrine and spiritual formation—currently walking through systematic theology.
- Home Groups: Gathering throughout the week in homes that help us reflect, apply, and live out what we’re learning together.
- Men’s & Women’s Bible Studies: Equipping and encouraging believers through Scripture and community.
