Wednesday Evenings @ 6:30pm
Building roots of faith in biblical truth
Wednesday nights at Lakewood are for those who desire a deeper understanding of the Christian faith. Led by Pastor Jeremy, the Practicum typically walks through rich, book-based studies—but currently, we’re journeying through the foundations of systematic theology. From the nature of God to the work of Christ, the authority of Scripture to the role of the Church, each week is an opportunity to build a grounded, thoughtful faith rooted in biblical truth. This isn’t just knowledge for knowledge’s sake—it’s formation that shapes how we live, serve, and love in our daily lives.
Biblical. Systematic. Spiritual.
Building stronger faith, together
Beginning this August, we’ll journey together through Remember and Rehearse (Biblical Theology), You Are a Theologian (Systematic Theology), and Formed for Fellowship (Spiritual Formation), along with the Deep Discipleship book and journal.
Pastor Jeremy will introduce the plan on June 18, and we’ll take July off before starting this in August. Books will be ordered in July—perfect timing to jump in with us this fall. Please pass along your interest by signing up early.

We’d love to meet you
This study is designed especially for our members as part of their ongoing growth and equipping. If you’re not yet a part of Lakewood but feel drawn to this kind of study, we’d love to meet you. The best place to start is by joining us on a Sunday morning, where you can get a feel for who we are, connect with others, and begin to walk with us in community. We believe discipleship thrives in relationships, and we’d be honored to grow alongside you.
